 In this artist Sesse Elangwe explores ideas of emotion questioning ideas of this or that in everyday life. Trying to find the answers of the everyday and questioning whether these answers always exist. 


'We Come From Fire and Return to Fire'

A presentation of natural environments the artists uses natural materials combining them with items such as glass promoting ideas of renewal and hope in the surrounding environment.


'Monuments of Solidarity' 

Latoya Ruby Frazier, 

MOMA, New York; 


Addressing the harmful results of deindustrialization and industrialisation, black healthcare inequalities and the ongoing water crisis in Flint Michigan amongst other themes. 


'Suspended States' 

Yinka Shonibare, 

Serpentine South Gallery, London;


In exploring ideas of national identity and general contemporary culture Shonibare's 'Suspended States' explores ideas looking at intersectionality between European and African cultures. 


'Shaping Spirits', 

Seyni Awa Camara, 

Gallery Baronian, Bussels; 


Seyni Awa Camara presented her strong skill In sculpture exploring themes of maternity, family, spirits and spirituality amongst others.
